My Music
I’ve been playing guitar since I was eight years old and I’ve been writing music since I was twelve or thirteen. Brandi Carlile, whose music I had first heard in seventh or eighth grade, made me want to be a singer-songwriter. So I’ve been singing and writing ever since. I’m largely self-taught on the guitar, but since coming to Vassar have learned more about theory.
I only started writing things that I was proud of in my first year of high school, and it took me until last December to start recording some of these songs. I spent my winter break recording I Am Your Astronaut, which was released on January 20th. Since then, I have released five more albums: Surprise! (EP), The Steinbeck EP, Call it History (LP), New Shades of Blue (LP), and Songs for Afterhours Lovers (LP). These albums are available on Spotify, iTunes/Apple Music, and BandCamp.
My most recent single, The Treehouse Song (You Are A Sailor), was published on January 18th, 2022.
I have included a Spotify playlist which consists of all the songs that I have published.
